The First Edition of this book was published in 1974. It broke ground on a totally undocumented area of WWII numismatics.
Listings of notes proceed alphabetically by island, province or major issuing entity. Description of layout, size, valuations of grades and conditions are shown for the notes. The valuations are the result of actual sales and auction prices.
Since then, a great deal of research has been accomplished by a number of dedicated numismatists, and were demanding for a general revision of the (1974) 1st edition - this led to the publishing of the 2nd edition (2024).

This book not only introduces notes issued by many provinces and the hundreds of municipalities, but it also tells the background story of notes printing under difficult circumstances. It also reflects the (hi)story of the guerrilla fighters and the locals supporting them. The Second Edition documents these newfound notes to the public. As many scans as possible of the existing notes are presented here, and the valuation key was improved and amended.

Mountain Province Paper Money (2026)
This book details all notes issued on Luzon Island, but has a primary focus on the issues of the Mountain province.
There are 21 known locations where Mountain province notes were countersigned, and such notes are discussed in details and multiple printing varieties of the eight face values are presented.
The Apayao chapter also provides new information and shows many paper and ink varieties of these attractive issues never seen before. The issues of Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya are also detailed discussed, and note scans presented as for example for controversial issues such as the Cushing notes which have a very fascinating history.
